Some people argue that modern technology has made life unnecessarily complicated and that abandoning it in favour of a simpler lifestyle is the best solution. I strongly disagree with this view, as technology enhances efficiency and access to opportunities, and the problem lies in misuse rather than technology itself.

To begin with, technology simplifies daily life by saving time and increasing productivity. Tasks that once required significant physical effort or lengthy processes, such as banking, communication, and information gathering, can now be completed quickly and conveniently. This efficiency allows individuals to focus on more meaningful activities, including education, family life, and personal development. As a result, technology reduces complexity rather than creating it when used appropriately. For example, digital tools enable people to manage work schedules, finances, and healthcare more effectively, improving overall quality of life.

Moreover, removing technology entirely would severely limit social and economic opportunities. In today’s interconnected world, technology is essential for education, employment, and global communication. Living without it would isolate individuals and restrict access to knowledge and services that are now considered fundamental.

Consequently, a technology-free lifestyle may create more difficulties than it solves, particularly in professional and academic contexts. For instance, students and workers who lack access to digital resources would be at a significant disadvantage compared to their peers, widening social and economic gaps.

In conclusion, while excessive reliance on technology can sometimes feel overwhelming, abandoning it altogether is neither practical nor beneficial. The real solution is to use technology in a balanced and controlled manner, rather than rejecting it completely. For these reasons, I firmly disagree with the idea that leading a life without technology is the answer to modern complexity.
